Zenon Burdy was born in Poland. He studied Fine art at Nicolaus Copernicus University and now exhibits internationally.

His paintings feature a rich, soft palette and evoke a style and feeling of the old masters. Burdy employs some of the trade secrets of the old masters to create ethereal images full of symbolism and mysticism. Burdy's still lifes and landscapes are inspired by biblical and mythological themes and ancient motifs.
